It was a cold, snowy afternoon when the Badger touched down in NYC last week, but it is always one of our favorite places to visit – no matter the time of the year. And while the city is filled with great beer options, there’s one we always fall back on – and it is available all over the country year-round.
Brooklyn Lager from the good peeps at Brooklyn Brewery (which I had the pleasure of visiting a few years back) is a great, easy-drinking, everyday type of brew. Brooklyn Lager is amber-gold in color and offers bit of malt and a floral hop aroma, but without a hoppy overtone (which you certainly wouldn’t expect in a lager anyway). And according to the brewery folks, in the late 1800’s Brooklyn was one of the largest brewing centers in the country, home to more than 45 breweries. Who knew? Well, they did I guess, since they’re telling us!
Brooklyn Lager is available year round, and pairs with quite literally everything. That’s it – that’s all we got! Check back next week for a bit more effort – for now, its Friday!
