When EPDs/HPDs drive you to drink…

We’ve written about and spent waaaaay to much time pondering LEED v4 and EPDs and HPDs this week, and we need a break. But what to turn to – beer, perhaps? You can at least drink a beer you don’t have to worry about needing an HPD for! We turn to the Samuel Smith Organic Lager. We love the pale ale too (amongst others), but on a day like today, slide me a cold bottle of the Organic Lager and I’m a happy Badger. Straight from the brewer’s mouth: “Brewed with great care using only organic malted barley, organic hops, medium-soft water and a bottom-fermenting yeast; matured at low temperatures to bring out its delicate flavour and soft hop-character finish.” Plus they have horses.

We’ve verified (over and over, just to be certain) the description from our friends across the pond, and we promise you’ll get a crisp, clean, refreshing beer perfect for that 5 o’clock happy hour. Wait, they are 5 hours ahead – that mean’s it is happy hour at noon! We’ll drink to that.
